1. REMOVE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH

2. LOOSEN REAR UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Loosen the 3 bolts and 3 nuts.

NOTICE:

Do not remove the bolts and nuts.

3. REMOVE REAR COIL SPRING LH

(a) Insert a piece of wood between the jack and the No. 2 lower arm, and raise the No. 2 lower arm.

HINT:

Raise the lower arm to the point just before the vehicle is raised.

(b) Using SST, compress the coil spring. SST: 09727-30021

(c) Gently lower the jack and remove the coil spring and insulator.
